Pommern is a four-masted steel barque, one of the last commercial sailing ships in the world. It sailed the wheat trade routes before becoming a museum ship in Mariehamn.
Do I need a separate ticket for Pommern?
No. The ticket is combined with the Åland Maritime Museum: one admission gives you two visits, either a revisit to the museum or a visit to Pommern.
Can I visit Pommern in winter?
Pommern is closed 1 October – 30 April. The Åland Maritime Museum itself is open every day all year.
